This kit is designed to be used with several standard hood brands installed in rooms with ceilings 9' or higher; check to see if your model is compatible. Installing this accessory will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the range hood and novice repair experience. You must unplug the vent hood or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
