The Sharp FPK50UW air purifier disperses positively and negatively charged ions throughout the room, safely breaking down microorganisms and odors trapped in fabric, carpeting, and drapery. An ideal solution for pet owners, allergy sufferers, asthmatics, and smokers, this air purifier works best in medium-sized bedrooms, living rooms, studies, and exercise rooms. Sharp's Plasmacluster Ion Technology Air Purifier is not only ARB Certified. It also produces 5X less ozone (at less than .001 ppm) than the lowest industry and federal standards set by the FDA, OSHA, and NIOSH.
